Endorsed Candidates

Aaron Woolf
For over 20 years, Aaron Woolf has developed documentary films that reveal the human side of government action - or inaction. His films have dealt with everything from agriculture policy and the effect it has on everyday farmers to the resurgence of America's industrial heartland. His small business, a grocery store that promotes locally-grown and sourced foods, draws many of its products from the New York district he hopes to represent.
Kevin Strouse
A devotion to service is deeply engrained in Kevin Strouse: his ancestors served our country in the Revolutionary War, his father fought in Vietnam, and both of his grandfathers served in World War II. When Kevin left Columbia University in 2001, he joined the Army and sought out the toughest assignments, heading straight for Ranger school. Kevin completed three tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq, after which he joined the Central Intelligence Agency to take on the most dangerous threats to national security.
Joe Bock
When crisis hit far-flung regions of the world, Joe Bock was there to lend a helping hand. As a humanitarian aid worker, Joe helped to build local businesses and resolve deep conflicts in Asia and the Middle East. He also oversaw programs in Africa and the Balkans. While serving as a teaching professor at Notre Dame's Eck Institute for Global Health, he leapt at the opportunity to help families in Haiti recover from the devastating earthquake there in 2010. Joe is running to represent his Northern Indiana district in Congress.
Aimee Belgard
Raised in a middle-class family in South Jersey, Aimee has been working hard since her first job delivering newspapers to the neighborhood at age 12. Aimee has always believed in taking life experiences and putting them to good use for others. After losing both parents to cancer, she devoted herself to combatting the disease through her service with the American Cancer Society. Years of advocating to elected officials on behalf of the Society inspired her to serve; she was elected to the Edgewater Park Township Committee in 2009 and the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 2012.
Brad Ashford
For over three decades, Brad Ashford has reached across party lines to do what's right for Nebraska families. A fifth-generation Nebraskan born to parents who owned a small business, Brad has worked tirelessly to make Nebraska a more attractive place to open a business as a member of the state's Unicameral. He's also worked to bring unique public-private partnerships to bear on the toughest challenges in the state, including his tenure as Executive Director of the Omaha Housing Authority.
Manan Trivedi
Dr. Manan Trivedi is a battle-tested Iraq War veteran with a deeply-held commitment to helping others. From 2001 to 2003, Trivedi served as the battalion surgeon for the 1st Battalion, 5th Regiment Marine Corps Infantry. There, he received the Combat Action Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal, while his unit was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation. After leaving the Navy, Trivedi became a primary care physician at Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he still serves today.
Kathleen Rice
Kathleen Rice serves as a tough-minded prosecutor in Nassau County, New York. In 2005, Rice shocked the political establishment by defeating a 31-year incumbent to become the first female DA in Long Island history. In 2007, she launched an innovative, community-driven effort to root out one of Long Island's most prolific drug markets that resulted in a 70% drop in crime and received national acclaim.
Amanda Renteria
The mother of two young boys, a former high school teacher, and the first Latina in history to serve as a Chief of Staff in the United States Senate, Amanda touts her pragmatic approach to problem solving. She has private sector work experience, a Master's degree from Harvard Business School, and a proven track record of spearheading effective economic policies.
John Lewis
Lewis, a fourth-generation Montanan born in Billings to a working-class family, is running for the House as a concerned father and a dedicated public servant. In 2011, John traveled to all 56 counties and 129 incorporated towns in Montana to relay the concerns of everyday Montanans back to Congress. He’s running for Montana to create good-paying jobs, to cut the debt and deficit, and to put his experience to work as a dedicated advocate for all Montanans.
Gwen Graham
Running as an independent voice for North Florida families, Gwen Graham is leading a strong campaign in Florida's Second Congressional District. The daughter of former Florida Senator Bob Graham, she's working to bring Democrats and Republicans together for pragmatic results. Gwen’s experience as a mother, professional, and consensus builder has given her the skills required to solve complicated problems with commonsense answers.
John Foust
John Foust brings a commitment to hard work and problem solving from his experience on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, where he made government do more with less: working with Republicans and Democrats, he passed six balanced budgets and closed a $650 million funding gap in one year. He cut wasteful spending while still delivering quality, cost-effective services to Fairfax residents
Emily Cain
A career in politics was never Emily Cain's dream, but in her time as a public servant in the Maine legislature, she's established herself as a champion for economic growth and smart solutions. In the State House, she credits her collaborative and determined style of leadership with helping her serve as a leader on issues affecting everyday Mainers, from research and economic development to improved accountability and transparency in state programs.
Erin Bilbray
A third-generation native of Nevada, Erin Bilbray has dedicated her life to the service of her community. Her grandfather was the owner of a shoe store who served in county government and instilled in her the virtues of helping others through public service. As a mother, civic activist, and founder of three non-profits, she has worked to increase civic engagement and expand opportunity.
Don Beyer
In Northern Virginia, Don Beyer's name is ubiquitous. With over 40 years of experience in the automotive business, he's grown a successful, community-based collection of dealerships. He's also served the people of Virginia as Lieutenant Governor, head of the Poverty and Welfare Reform Commission, and head of the Virginia Economic Recovery Commission. Beyer's smart, pro-growth reforms have been used as models for federal policy time and time again. He's also served as Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein under President Obama.
Pete Aguilar
The son of a utility worker who worked two jobs to pay his way through college, Pete Aguilar is running for Congress in California's 31st Congressional District. Aguilar currently serves as the Mayor of Redlands, where he has worked across party lines to deliver results for his middle-class community. He's created a loan program to help small business start-ups generate the kinds of cutting-edge, well-paying jobs that serve as bridges to the middle class.
